LIBRARY RULES

Visitors should maintain silence and discipline.

Students should produce their identity card as and when demanded by the library staff.

Students can issue two library books on their borrower card (B.T.) for a week.

Renewal of books will depend on availability and requirement of the same by others.

Students can issue one book on their college I-card for reading in study room or for overnight reading.

Loss of I-card/borrow card (B.T.) should be immediately reported to the librarian.

Students should take care of books issued to them. They should inform about missing pages to the library (counter) staff, at the very moment of its issue.

Issue of duplicate I-card as well as borrow cards (BT) will be made after due charges being paid.

Students can avail the facility of reference books/journals, periodicals within the library premises only against I-card.

Issued book should be returned within seven days from the date of issue.

A fine of Rs. 1/- per day will be charged on late return of books issued on library borrow card.

A fine of Rs. 10/- per day will be charged on late return of books issued on I-card.

Writing, scribbling, or tearing of pages of books, news papers, periodicals etc. is prohibited and will be liable for strict action.

Scholar card facility is given for first three students (On merit basis) from each class. They are provided with one extra library card.

Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the library.

Use Suggestion Box for conveying any complaints or suggestions.

On loss of library book, user shall replace the same with a brand new copy or pay amount decided by the library committee.

Students should enter their names in the entry register when using library facilities.

Limited photocopy facility at moderate rate is available in the library.

Smoking or use of tobacco in library buildings is strictly prohibited.

Misbehavior will be a sufficient reason for the cancellation of admission.

Library Timing:
During examination Period - 7.30am to 10.00pm
Regular Working Day - 7.30am to 5.30pm
Book Circulation Timing - 9.30am to 2.00pm & 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
